Buckinghamshire New University (BNU), a public institution with campuses in High Wycombe, Aylesbury, Uxbridge, and Great Missenden, has a storied history tracing back to its establishment as the School of Science and Art in 1891. Throughout its evolution, the university has adopted various names such as Wycombe Technical Institute, High Wycombe College of Technology and Art, and Buckinghamshire College of Higher Education.
