UQ offers three major intakes for international students:

  • Semester 1: February/March
  • Semester 2: July

🔄 Renewable: Yes, based on academic performance

2. UQ Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship

Eligibility: Awarded to high-achieving international students in STEM and business programs.
💰 Amount: AUD 12,000 – 20,000
🔄 Renewable: No (one-time award)

3. UQ Global Excellence Scholarship

Eligibility: Available for students in engineering, business, and IT programs. Must demonstrate academic excellence.
💰 Amount: Up to AUD 10,000 per year
🔄 Renewable: Yes, based on academic merit

4. UQ Law International Scholarship

Eligibility: Awarded to students enrolling in LLM or JD programs.
💰 Amount: AUD 10,000 – 15,000
🔄 Renewable: No (one-time award)

5. UQ PhD Research Scholarships

Eligibility: Open to PhD students with outstanding research potential.
💰 Amount: Full tuition fee + AUD 37,000 per year (living stipend)
