AUT, the second-largest university in Aotearoa New Zealand, has been an institution of higher learning for over a century, attaining university status in 2000. Adhering to the Education Act (1989), AUT is a modern university governed by a council and led by a strategic team. Established in 1990, Auckland Institute of Studies (AIS) is a leading private degree-granting institution in New Zealand. We offer a broad range of NZQA-approved qualifications for domestic and international students, spanning certificates, diplomas, undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. AIS specializes in business, tourism management, hospitality management, information technology, and business administration. Our MBA program is among the largest in New Zealand, and our English Language Centre provides courses in EFL, EAP, IELTS Preparation, and Business English.
