Established in 1990, Auckland Institute of Studies (AIS) is a leading private degree-granting institution in New Zealand. We offer a broad range of NZQA-approved qualifications for domestic and international students, spanning certificates, diplomas, undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. AIS specializes in business, tourism management, hospitality management, information technology, and business administration. Our MBA program is among the largest in New Zealand, and our English Language Centre provides courses in EFL, EAP, IELTS Preparation, and Business English.

Situated in Mount Albert, Central Auckland, AIS operates from two appealing campuses: St Helens, set in park-like grounds adjacent to Chamberlain Park Golf Course, and Asquith, conveniently located near St Lukes shopping centre. Our flexible three-semester system and cross-credit recognition enable students to fast-track their studies and gain a competitive edge in their careers. We provide comprehensive support on employment issues, including CV preparation, interview skills, job placement, and internships. The Online Visa Office facilitates visa processing for international students on campus.

Emphasizing a friendly, nurturing environment, AIS ensures a balance with rigorous academic programs. Small class sizes offer personalized education, with our experienced faculty valuing direct contact with students.

The St Helens Campus, with its spacious and park-like setting in Mt Albert, holds historical significance as the former St Helen’s Hospital, built in the early 1900s. It pays homage to New Zealand’s Prime Minister, Richard J Seddon, known as “King Dick.” The campus is easily accessible, located near Auckland’s North Western motorway, Baldwin Avenue train station, and frequent bus services along New North and Great North Roads.
